IP Telephony / Cabling Supervisor (Luanda)

Client
Our client is an international service provider to the Oil & Gas industry, currently seeking a Telephony / Cabling Supervisor to join their team in Luanda.

Main responsibilities / Activities
• Responsible for the installation and configuration of PABX equipments, Cisco Brand;
• Ensure preventive, conditional and corrective maintenance of these equipments and their peripheral devices: taxation, voice mail, videoconference;
• Proactive towards existing network improvements;
• Assists offshore sites technicians;
• Potentially supports installation or modification works on new architectures;
• Ensures Work Orders are properly executed and completed;
• Creates and updates relevant documentation;
• Organizes 24/7 service coverage;
• In charge of the technical reporting to the Client if required;
• Ensure that the HSE rules and procedures are respected and followed according to Client and Contractor policies;
• Controls / guaranteed employees are properly trained (HSE, quality and safety);
• Ensure weekly reporting to Project Manager.

Requirements
• University degree in IT / Telecommunications (Master’s degree is valued and desirable);
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field;
• Valid Cisco CCNP Certification (Voice);
• Fluency in English and French;
• Ability to communicate and work with a multinational team;
• Management and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to communicate and report information, both oral and written;
• Available to work on a schedule of 5 weeks / 5 weeks;
• Physical ability to work under a hot and wet climate;
• Available to travel regularly;
