Purpose of the Job:
Advanced diagnosis, warranty authorisation and set-up of Aggreko power generation equipment, including the
maintenance of high voltage equipment.
Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities:
To switch Aggreko electrical equipment up to<400kV;
To isolate Aggreko electrical equipment up to<400kV;
To carry out electrical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment less than 33kV;
To assist the ASE with maintenance of equipment on 33kV and above;
To assist ASE with commissioning of power generation equipment;
To carry out advanced fault finding and repairs of generators, electrical and control equipment less than 33kV;
To assist the ASE with fault finding and repairs of equipment on 33kV and above;
Root cause analysis and trend analysis in electrical failures using data from a wide range of sources- paper and
electronic for entire site;
To carry out site operational risk assessments on manufacturing modifications (MO6, MO7);
Analyse and report the Aggreko service mobility system data;
To mentor the Generator Technician Electrical;
To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics;
Installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment in accordance with Aggreko standards;
To follow and comply with Aggreko QHSE standards;
Adherence to 5S;
Safety of self and others;
To carry out transformer and oil sample and analysis of data on site;
Issuing AC electrical ‘Permit to Work’ up to <400kV;
Set-up of Aggreko equipment during installation and demobilisation;

Requisitos
Person Specification/Job Requirements:
Minimum of engineering diploma standard;
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in an electrical discipline;
Core expertise on Gas/HFO experience with specific to GE & MAN will attract definite preference;
Effective written and spoken communication skills;
Must successfully complete ALL assessments in compliance with Generation Specialist Electrical requirements;
The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and
local legislation;
Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights;
Ability to work autonomously when required;
Ability to coach and mentor;
