Médico - Offshore

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing emergency medical care and first aid on board.

• Carry out triage and clinical consultations to treat common ailments.

• Managing and keeping crew members' medical records and health records up to date.

• Administering medicines and keeping track of the infirmary's stock.

• Monitor public health conditions, including hygiene, sanitation and outbreak control.

• Organise and conduct first aid and medical emergency response training.

• Ensure compliance with international regulations (such as IMO, SOLAS, MLC) and company policies.

• Coordinate medical evacuations (MEDEVAC) when necessary, in conjunction with the safety and command team.

• Prepare periodic medical reports and communicate critical health conditions to the responsible department on shore.

• Supporting crew mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

Experience: Minimum 5 years offshore experience
Certifications: BOSIET, BLS & ALS certificates, and relevant education certificates.
Languages: Portuguese and English (Intermediate level)
