As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be is the owner of your designated categories. You will be responsible for creating, influencing, and implementing sourcing strategies on a local level including new or changing items, P2P (Procure to Pay) channel management, and leading supplier relationship management. You will have ownership over ensuring supply strategies for your categories short and long-term, data collection and analysis.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of local material risk mitigation plans and sourcing strategies
Perform any data retrieval, analysis and representation required, mapping how ordering and channels work within the locations serviced and identify improvements to be targeted
Interface with local suppliers to assist with supplier development, supplier relationship management, or supplier switch out activities to support the sourcing strategy
Assure localized requirements are communicated to supply base
Integrate innovation, renovation and post award cost improvement elements from suppliers and the local business into all in scope functional or site/production processes
Support future scenario planning for the business for your owned categories
Perform other duties as assigned
Requisitos
Basic Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
3+ years’ purchasing, strategic sourcing, procurement, customer service, sales, finance, logistics or related supply chain experience
Fluent in English
SAP system experience is an advantage
Previous experience in a multinational compnay is an advantage
