Compliance Manager

Advice and support the business on all compliance matters and ensure the business is in alignment with license requirements globally.
Act as the liaison officer with the company and regulatory bodies, as well as facilitate internal and external compliance audits.
Develop and formulate Group policy, standards, and operating procedures & controls and ensure effective implementation of the program.
Work with technology and product teams in assessing and mitigating technology risk and regulatory risks.
Conduct reviews on the adequacy and relevance of regulatory and compliance strategies, policies, and frameworks, and oversee enhancements to address control deficiencies.
Implement and conduct regular compliance training programs on an ongoing basis to educate staff on the relevant regulatory developments, compliance policies, and procedures.
Advise and ensure regulatory requirement fulfillment for new product and service developments.
Defining the required level of knowledge across the organization on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements.
Creating an annual compliance work plan that reflects the unique characteristics of the organization.
Overseeing and monitoring the compliance program’s implementation.
Preparing and presenting to the Board clear and concise compliance reports.
Developing policies and programmes that encourage managers and employees to report suspected fraud and other irregularities without fear of retaliation.
Coordinating internal compliance review and monitoring activities, including departmental reviews on a regular basis.
Investigating and acting on compliance issues independently.

Bachelor's Degree Compliance, Law, or related industry required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in management roles.
Excellent research and analysis skills.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
Strong financial modelling skills.
Banking background.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Self-motivated with great initiative.
