OBJECTIVES / SCOPE

- To deliver Close out activities within all Project and Mods Contracts. (Technical)

- To be aware of and adhere to the Aker Solutions values, operating system and processes including PEM and AKiMS.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Organisational:

•  Responsible for preparation of CTR’s within AKiMS for Close out activities and deliverables.
• Responsible for the technical quality and performance of the designers and CAD Operators within the close out group ensuring utilisation of AKiMS for deliverables
• Obtain signatures on Close out checklists as appropriate for each project
• Notify responsible engineer of all weight changes
• Assist with coaching of trainee Close out co-ordinators and trainee designers when assigned to Close out Group

Technical:

•  Ensure Key Drawings are as-built and completed in line with Projects requirements/KPI’s
•  Check Workpacks, including registers, documents, certification, punch lists and drawings, returned from offshore for completeness and to ensure that all signatures are in place.
•  Preparation of Close out dossier to agreed format for each project
•  To as-build appropriate drawings as per each projects’ requirements
•  Check all vendor data prior to transfer to client
•  To update all registers, line lists, schedules, client software/databases
•  Provision of relevant data for maintenance management system updates including asset registers
•  Assist with reviews by the client’s ICP as appropriate to the projects/client needs
•  Provide input to progress reports on Close out activities as required by management team
•  Submit Close out Dossiers and checklists for final approval
•  Review Close out check lists to ensure that all activities have been completed and sign off approved
•   Ensure the timely issue of key deliverables and close out dossiers along with approved check list to clients as per project requirements
•   Co-ordination of the work with disciplines leads and DCC within projects as required
•   Ensure all Client requests for ad-hoc as-building are co-ordinated and processed as required

•  Report all accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with Procedures
•  Keep abreast of industry developments and innovations that may affect safety and welfare of personnel or protection of the environment, and inform colleagues accordingly

Qualifications

•  Educated to degree level with appropriate professional qualifications.
•  Chartered Engineer.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills 

•  Ability to estimate, plan, execute and progress work effectively.
•  Conversant with relevant industry codes standards and legal requirements.
•  Abreast of latest relevant technical developments within Aker Solutions and the oil & gas industry generally.

Experience

•  Years relevant professional experience.

Personal Skills

•  Communicate effectively within the organisation and with clients.
•  Effective management and development of close out resources.
