Financial Controller

• Develop and supervise the implementation of internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Oversee the management of accounts receivable, Billing, GL, accounts payable ledgers, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Lead the team members responsible for accounting, payroll, VAT & WHT processes.
• Manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Review full PL and balance sheet reconciliation monthly.
• Analyse, prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Prepare yearly financial reports & submit to Revenue authorities.
• Analyse, prepare budgeting and forecasting reports.
• Lead the end-to-end audit process of current systems, while acting as a point of contact for external auditors.
• Review the financial reports and seek ways to reduce company costs.
• Control the preparation and interpretation of statutory accounts.
• Take overall responsibility for the management of financial details to ensure that legal requirements are met.
• Provide performance analysis to senior management.
• Drive controlling process improvements

We are looking for highly analytical and driven Financial Controller to join our team. This role will focus on managing the financial performance of our company. You’ll partner with various stakeholders, driving financial planning, analysis and process optimization.

Your Profile:
• A minimum 5 years’ occupational experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller role,
• Experience in FP&A(Financial Planning & Analysis) role will be added as an advantage.
• Business-oriented with excellent problem – solving projects,
• Strong analytical Skills,
• The ability to use main accounting & office software competently, including Primavera & Microsoft Excel,
• Fluent level of both spoken and written Portuguese and English,
• Degree in accounting and fully qualified Accountant registered at Angola Board of Accountants.
