Constructor Manager/Project Manager

§  Represent the interest of the company

§  Provide independent professional advice;

§  Liaise with and supervise the work of the other professionals involved in the project.

§  Make sure the aims of the project are met.

§  Ensure that quality standards are adhered to.

§  Keep track of progress and ensure that the project is on time and on budget.

§  Maintain records of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing.

§  Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

§  Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.

§  Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

§  Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to service providers.

§  Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards.

§  Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.

§  Minimize company exposure and risk on projects.

§  Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

§  Manage project budget.

Follow up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.

§  Plan, manage, coordinate and control financial aspects of engineering projects.

§  Responsible to see that the company’s wishes are adhered to and that projects are completed on time and within the budget agreed.

§  Be involved from the initial conception and design of the project, through its construction, to its completion.

Wor

§  Minimum BSc, MSc preferred in Engineering or Construction related field.

§  Must have at least 10 years Project Management.

§  English language skills, both spoken and written. Portuguese is a plus.

§  Proven track record.

§  Confident in abilities.

§  Cultural sensitivity.

§  Ability to work on own initiative and within a national and global team – lead and be lead.

§  Personal drive, initiative and resourcefulness – problem solving.

§  PC application skills – SAP, Microsoft Excel, Maximo, Project etc.

§  Competent with the use of computer and all software using in the company, as SAP, PRIMAVERA, PROJECT and other SOFTWARE Support required.
