VAT Accountant

Perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with Tax reporting obligation mainly VAT ensuring that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements"

• Produce periodic returns and declarations for VAT

• Carry out pre and post audit checks if all VAT returns

• Reconcile VAT and any statistical or fiscal returns

• Provide support and advice to all regions

• Provide support for local accounting team in terms of VAT recognition

• Provide commercial and operational support to the management team for all VAT matters

• Deal with all ATA queries

• Ensure compliance with Angolan tax laws

• Deep understanding of the Angolan VAT rules

• Organized with the ability to work within tight deadlines

• Knowledgeable in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

• Knowledge of working with an ERP system Primavera

• Communication (Verbal and written)

• Attention to detail
