In Angola, Educartis is the official education partner of Jobartis, the leading online jobs platform in the country. 

Educartis is looking to hire an Office and Sales Manager in Angola to join our fast growing team. 

This role is important for the growth of local operations and requires strong analytical capability of metrics and company objectives to help grow our local sales function. The person in this role will also be responsible for the growth of the sales team and overall business and operations management.

We are looking for high energy, self starters who are interested in technology and have a passion for education.

This position reports directly to the CEO and VP of Operations.




Responsibilities

  • Lead all sales efforts in Angola

  • Develop and optimize the existing customer portfolio

  • Manage client relationships, lead and attend product demonstration meetings

  • Manage, recruit and grow the local [small] sales team 

  • Provide training on all company tools and operational and administrative processes

  • Create, manage and enforce company and team policies

  • Analyze and audit team KPIs

  • Develop sales reports, together with the CEO

  • Manage local presence through events and other stakeholder engagements

  • Keep up to date with industry trends and new revenue possibilities

  • Explore partnerships with service providers of interest to the company

  • Carry out regular market surveys and feedback sessions

  • Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO on productivity improvements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent [minimum]

  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales and/or management experience in Angola

  • Experience with managing teams, sales team management and managing business objectives

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Fluency in both Portuguese and English

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Comfortable working with both local and international remote teams

  • Strong organizational and computer skills 

  • Results-oriented and keen to solve problems

  • Ability to work under pressure
