The stockroom coordinator (SRC) is the individual responsible for managing the stockroom according to the IT Global Hardware and Asset Management Process.
The following are the key roles and responsibilities of an SRC:
• Ensure physical inventory reflects assets on Asset Management Tool (BMC)
• Verify hardware availability from stockroom before requesting purchase (where applicable).
• Receive all assets into stockroom and assume responsibility for their effective custody & identify equipment requiring manual creation/update
• Review all packing slips and reconcile with actual assets shipped. Provide packing slips to Procurement Contact (where applicable).
• Receive equipment on-site and validate delivery against purchase order.
• Unpack and perform quality check, e.g. no Dead On Arrival (if yes, follow Repair process)
• Move equipment into stockroom and ensure BMC record contains all necessary fields populated (e.g. Country of Origin) and up-to-date
• Identify whether manual creation is required (if not in BMC) or if BMC record correction is necessary due to vendor feed discrepancy
• Request manual creation for products from vendor with no feed
• Request correction of vendor feed discrepancies via manual creation/update process
• Loading Operating systems onto PCs, prepare non-personal equipment and wiping client machines
• Maintain adequate inventory levels, ship to different locations as needed
• Maintain small items.
• Provide updates on general inventory reconciliation activities.
• Identify any faulty equipment (follow repair process)
• Assist in periodic independent stockroom verification of equipment in stock and disposals
• Assist in fixed asset independent verification activity
• Perform periodic safety inspections on stockrooms
Requisitos
Good interpersonal communication;
Advanced knowledge of the English language;
Possibility of travel within Angola;
Immediate availability.
