Responsibilities
• Strategically manage wholesale channel in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Define processes for evolution of the wholesale channel within the organization
• Setup clientele categories to better service the client needs
• Establish growth markets and support in route to market definition
• Ensure sales and margin targets are met weekly
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure order fulfillment accuracy
• Ensure system requirements are met by following the existing protocols are followed
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Prepare annual budget
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (as required)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
Requirements
• Proven work experience in wholesale/key accounts – especially FMCG
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of HORECA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Especailly Excel)
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
