Descrição da função
Reporting to: CFO (London) and locally to the Country Head of Angola.
•Develop the financial infrastructure, processes and procedures for the local entities and business in Angola;
•Provide innovative solutions to the corporate structure of the organization locally by working closely with local lawyers and tax advisors and the respective teams in London to optimize financial and tax considerations;
•Key Financial stakeholder for the development of new business structures in Angola;
•Key day to day contact for outsourced accounting providers for local entities;
•Maintenance of all non-standard transactions during the month: coordinate booking with outsourced accounting providers;
•Management of month end process: ensure timely receipt of and perform first review of monthly management accounts;
•Responsible for intercompany balance reconciliations;
•Direct management and oversight of accounts payable functions;
•Ensuring invoices are correctly coded, payments are made on timely basis;
•Preparing variance analysis reports to explain differences between actual and budgeted operational results;
•Assistance in preparation of annual operational budgets;
•Monthly cash flow statement preparation and day to day cash monitoring;
•Management of the year-end audit process; review of pro forma statutory accounts, liaising with auditors;
•Preparing sales invoices – intercompany recharges and other ad-hoc fee invoices;
•Identifying and improving process improvements;
•Work closely with the office manager to control, monitor and analyses expenses.
