- Overseeing technical aspects of project implementation by ADECOs related to Treatment, supervision and participate on the iCCM technical Working Groups.
- Oversees the WV- Angola direct implementation activities in Cunene, and Kuando-Kubango province, supporting the provincial and district a teams and cooperating with the Finance and Administration departments to ensure successful execution of the activities, plus also overseeing the drugs distribution from national level up to provincial level.
- Review the WV-Angola recruitment of national project staff on technical aspects, and when necessary consultants ensuring technical capacity assessments and professional development. 10
- Ensure that new staff is given appropriate orientation and training on technical, aspects of the implementation of project activities consistently building their skill-set and their productivity. This entail visits to the provinces one time per monthly to support field staff on technical aspect of the iCCM component
- Work with provincial coordinator in preparation of routine technical and program reports, manuals/guide line documents, standard operation procedures and any other technical documents such as survey or operational research reports.
- Work within the SRIU in monitoring performance, training and supporting Sub-Recipients implementation teams as necessary in community intervention activities, and reporting progress as well as document lessons learned and share success.
- Work closely Operation Director and Chief of Party to ensure cooperation with the Ministry of Health and its departments as well as with all involved governmental agencies for the facilitation of the program implementation.
Requisitos
Minimum Qualification required:
- MD or BSc with more than 5 years of working with National Government/ local NGOs or directly implementing malaria programming
- Experience in working at a senior level with government officials, NGOs.
- Strong experience in monitoring, analysing, and evaluating programmatic information.
- More than 5 year of experience working with government and NGOs in an advisory role.
Experience:
At least 5-7 years of relevant experience with international organizations in a similar position work experience within a consortium preferred.
- understanding of malaria,
- Understanding of Elimination 8 grant requirements.

Working Environment / Conditions:
Ability to work in an environment that promotes Christian values.
It is expected that the position holder will at least travel up to 60% of time to the provinces.
