Tax and Compliance Manager

• Estimate and track tax returns and prepare tax payments,
• Complete/Review quarterly and annual tax reports
• Organize and update the companies tax database
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals, identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits
• Prepare/review necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Share financial data with the accounting department
• Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Forecast tax predictions to senior managers
• Follow changes to tax regulations and laws.
• Create and implement processes and procedures
• Other tasks requested by the top management
• Develop, Implement and Maintain compliance projects as well as working alongside all key deparments ensuring all relevant compliance gaps and projects are resolved to a high standard
• Supporting the communications team in writing and publishing articles for external media
• Promoting compliance as a key center of excellence as well as providing regular updates to the business regarding any developments in Taxes compliance.
• Transfer Pricing Report
• Ensuring all issues within Compliance domain are dealt with before they become a concern and is regularly reported.

• Education: Bachelor degree in accounting).
• Language: Portuguese (Must), English (must).
• Knowledge: Minimum 5 years of experience in Angola Taxation.
• Computer Skills: Microsoft tools.
• Previous Big 4 experience is a plus
