Purpose of the position;
Strategically manage and administer all tangible assets of PA, in the most cost effective manner.
Main Tasks;
Manage all Panalpina Angola assets, such as:
Company cars, houses and offices;
Keep abreast with the local market in procuring the most cost effective deals;
Develop a network with suppliers and landlords;
Establish a procurement log of services
Establish and maintain administrative services, which ensures efficient and effective running of operations;
Provide administrative and logistics support to Panalpina staff;
Prepare annual budget of the department;
Arrange and calculate monthly stock and costs;
Supervise and monitor the stock control system.
Manage maintenance requests;
Assume responsibility for delivery of mobile phones, phone cards, cars and ensure accurate and timely information is submitted to Finance.
Supervise and ensure that phones, faxes, photocopiers and printers in office are working well and liaise with relevant people in a timely and proactive manner to ensure they are repaired if necessary.
Ensure premises are kept clean and safe, by consulting the HSE department and arrange for repairs to be carried out.
Ensure all equipments are clean and well maintained.

Keep abreast of current and new contracts\tariffs and assist Marketing & Sales department as necessary;
Endure correct implementation of all Panalpina Processes and procedures;
Keep abreast of Panalpina services and new developments;
Participate actively in improving the quality of Panalpina operations and services;
Apply HSE rules and requirements at your function and report HSE observations;
Keep your workspace organized and follow Clean Desk Policy;
Apply the CISP and respect the code of conduct;
Carry out other tasks as required by management;
Market & Industry knowledge;
Keep abreast with local authorities and changes which are implemented in regards to the housing law and transport authorities;
Basic Freight Forwarding Know-how;
Operational know-how (document processing);
Understanding of PA strategy and products;
Knowledge about markets and competitors;
Overall understanding of business processes and interdependencies;

Educational Background & Experience;
Degree in Administration;
2-3 years Administrations experience;
Language Skills;
Fluent in Portuguese and English;
Computer Literacy;
MS Office skills and good knowledge regarding PA IT systems (FOS and SAP);
